In order to create a strong atmosphere of celebrating the 70^th anniversary of P.R.C. in unity and actively sing the theme of loving the party, loving the motherland and loving socialism, Tianjin Maritime Court held a series of activities as a tribute to the great motherland on September 30^th.

At nine o’clock in the morning, all the judges, court staff, and judicial personnel line up neatly and solemnly to hold the grand flag-raising ceremony.

Accompanied by the music, the flag-raiser took a neat step and escorted the flag to the flag-raising platform. In the majestic and heroic national anthem, the bright Five-Star Red Flag rose.

Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group and the President of Tianjin Maritime Court Li Xiujie gave a speech on behalf of the court wishing the great motherland prosperity and the people a prosperous judicial cause. She also briefly reviewed the great course and brilliant achievements made by New China over the past 70 years, mobilized all the judges, court staff, and judicial personnel to hold up the great banner of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, firmly believe in ideals and always be firm believers and faithful practitioners of communist ideals and socialism with Chinese characteristics. We should continue to focus on justice in the overall situation, take responsibility and act actively, and provide a strong guarantee for maritime judicial services for economic and social development. We must never forget our first thoughts and remember our mission and strive to make the people feel fairness and justice in every judicial case.

After the flag-raising ceremony, some retired old cadres returned to the maritime court and exchanged views with the representatives of the young court staff on the theme of "growing together with the motherland and working together with the new era." During the exchange, retired comrades, as witnesses of history, gave an affectionate account of the historical changes of the people's courts since the founding of New China, reviewed the vivid practice of maritime justice for decades, and expressed a beautiful vision for the development of the motherland. The young court staff stated that they would inherit and carry forward the fine traditions of the older generation of court people, stick to their hearts, assume their missions, and make new contributions in the new era.

In the afternoon, the court held a literary and artistic festival get-together with the theme "New Age of Struggle and Praise for New China". The leaders of the court, some old cadres, and all the judges, court staff, judicial personnel and other employee enjoyed the performance together. The get-together started in the loud "National Anthem" sound. Poem reciting "Lovely China" and "My Motherland", the talk show "Amazing, My Country" expressed the strong pride of the court staff; "Fenghuangyufei" "Today is your birthday," "Singing the Motherland," "Every Time," "The Country," "Together with the Motherland," "I and My Motherland," and other singing programs have eulogized the brilliant achievements of the great motherland. In addition, the party also invited the Marina Warner Chorus Troupe to perform the dance "Ode to the Fatherland" and "Turn over the Serf Sing". Children of court staff performed the children's show "Baby Baby", "Little Fish and Little Wave" and "Meet the Olympics.
