In the course of deepening the theme education of " Remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind ", the enforcement judges of Tianjin Maritime Court insisted on practicing the spirit of justice for the people and the initiative of the party members and lived up to their own missions facing the sudden attack of the Super Typhoon Lekima. And finally, they successfully concluded a case involving people's livelihood racing against the extreme weather and the clock.

Recently, a ship berthed at a terminal in Tianjin port for as long as one year had attracted the attention of the judicial personnel of Tianjin Maritime Court. The over-time-limit occupation of the ship was not only waste of resources, but also potential safety hazard. Since the case involved enforcement issues, the enforcement judge was an "outsider" as well as an "executor". Due to the disagreements among more than 20 shareholders of the ship, the case failed to be implemented for a long period. The enforcement judges finally got in touch with all shareholders in Zhejiang and Fujian and hurried to Fujian overnight. As soon as they arrived in Zhejiang, the Central Meteorological Observatory issued the Super Typhoon warning that a Super Typhoon may land on the coast of Zhejiang and Fujian in the next 24 hours. After bitter inner struggles, the enforcement judges decided to rush to the coastal areas of the border of Zhejiang and Fujian where the shareholders gathered the next day. When the judges arrived, some shareholders knowing the approaching of the Super Typhoon assumed the judges wouldn’t risk their lives and then left. The judges urgently summoned the shareholder. After three hours of coordination, the shareholders finally reached an agreement and paid the execution funds involved in the case. And the case was successfully closed. The judges rushed to Wenzhou to take the plane back to Tianjin only to find all flights had been cancelled. The only choice left was trains. When they rushed to the train station, Lekima had already landed in Wenzhou. Trees were uprooted everywhere. Vehicles floated in the water. Although multiple high-speed trains had been cancelled, they finally returned to Tianjin on the second day by reversing several times against strong gales and torrential rains. Eventually, the judges won in the race with Lekima and closed the case.
