Tianjin Maritime Court celebrates the Sixth National Constitution Day

  Decemeber 4th is the National Constitution Day of China. China has celebrated the day since 2014 and today is the sixth National Constitution Day.

      The Constitution is the fundamental law of the country and the general constitution of the state. It has the highest legal status, legal authority and legal effect. It has the fundamentality, overall situation, stability and long-term nature. No law or administrative or local rules and regulations shall contravene the constitution. All state organs, the armed forces, all political parties and public organizations and all enterprises and undertakings must abide by the Constitution and the law. All acts in violation of the Constitution and the law must be investigated. No organization or individual may enjoy the privilege of being above the Constitution and the law.

      The current Constitution of China was enacted in 1982 in accordance with the lines, guiding principles and policies of the Communist Party of China(CPC) since the 3rd Plenary Session of the 11th Central Committee of the CPC in 1978, and with a view to meeting the requirement of the political, economic, cultural and social development in China during the new historical period of time. 

       Chinese government attaches great importance to the rule of law in an all-round way, continues to promote scientific legislation, strict law enforcement, impartial justice and full compliance with the law, adheres to the joint promotion of rule of law, rule of law and administration according to law, adheres to the construction of a country ruled by law, a government ruled by law and a society ruled by law, and strives to build a socialist legal system with Chinese characteristics and a socialist country ruled by law.

        Tianjin Maritime Court will  hold various open-day activities during the weeklong Constitution publicity campaign.
