Since the outbreak of the new coronary pneumonia, Tianjin Maritime Court had adhered to the overall concept of serving to ensure the prevention and control of the epidemic situation and developed seven online functions of maritime trials, litigation services supported by information technology.

First, online case filing. The litigants could visit Tianjin Court Litigation Service Network (http://www.tjcourt.gov.cn/tjfyss/), find "online filing" module, complete real name registration, login and then upload litigation documents and other materials. After this Spring Festival holiday, online filing accounts for about 50% of the total cases received.

Second, online delivery of judicial documents. Indictments, replies and court summons could all be delivered through Wechat, e-mail and other online service (while judgements, mediation and ruling documents still need to be original and printed). Tianjin Maritime Court had also issued invitations to maritime lawyers and legal service workers throughout the country for regular service of information, setting up a maritime litigation database.

Third, online preservation. Litigant could submit application form and property clue through the online Preservation Center. They could also apply for and get electronic guarantee voucher. If online application is approved, Tianjin Maritime Court would complete the corresponding account freeze.

Fourth, online file reading. The applicants could apply for online file checking access in the Wechat mini app "Tianjin Mobile Micro Court”, or visit China Judicial Process Information Online and Tianjin Court Litigation Service to check the progress of the cases.

Fifth, online court session. The litigants could enter the Internet court via PC program, mobile phone App and Wechat mini App. Court investigation, cross-examination, court debate and transcript confirmation could all be completed remotely.

Sixth, online mediation. Litigant could login to the online mediation platform to apply for pre-litigation mediation or mediation in litigation held by people's mediators or judges. More than 85 percent of maritime cases involve parties abroad, but more than 30 maritime cases had been successfully mediated online since the outbreak of this epidemic.

Seventh, online enforcement. Online enforcement platforms had played an all-round role during the epidemic prevention and control period. Tianjin Maritime Court had completed auction, investigation, account freezing and remote identity authentication online successfully.
