The applicant stated that it supplied more than 200 tons of oil (worth 1.2 million yuan) to the respondent while the respondent never completed the payment, which seriously affected the company's resumption of work and production. In order to protect the legitimate rights and interests of the applicant and minimize the impact on the defendant, the judge decided to resort to fast-track trial.
The judge immediately reviewed the application materials for the arrest, and quickly helped prepare all relevant documents for arrest of ship by checking the guarantee materials through wechat. After the arrest of the ship, the judge organized the parties to mediate instantly in order to minimize the losses both parties. After much hard work, the parties reached a settlement, and the defendant paid the money. And the ship was then released.
